今回は兵庫県宍粟市にある『ちくさ高原スキー場』をご紹介します。このスキー場は、鳥取県と兵庫県の県境に位置する氷ノ山後山那岐山国定公園内にあり、リフト3本、コース5本と中規模のローカルゲレンデで、自然豊かで多彩な地形とコースの組み合わせで滑りごたえ十分でした。

This time, we’re introducing "Chikusa Kogen Ski Resort," located in Shiso City, Hyogo Prefecture. Situated within the Hyōnosen-Ushiroyama-Nagisan Quasi-National Park near the border of Tottori and Hyogo Prefectures, this mid-sized local ski resort features three lifts and five courses. The resort offers a satisfying experience with its rich natural surroundings and a variety of terrains and courses. Joining us for this Gerending session was Tomohide Inoue, a Gemtenstick rider based in the Kansai region.
訪れたのは週末の土曜日。とても人気で人も多く訪れてました。雪質は硬めでしたが充実した滑走が楽しめました。
I visited on a weekend Saturday. While the snow was a bit firm, I still enjoyed a fulfilling day of riding.
リフトは全部で3本。第1リフトはゲレンデ中腹部に降り、緩斜面へのアクセスが便利。第2リフトはゲレンデトップまで登ることができ、多彩なコースを堪能できます。

There are three lifts in total. The first lift drops you off at the middle section of the slopes, providing convenient access to gentle terrain. The second lift takes you to the top of the slopes, allowing you to enjoy a variety of courses.

第2リフトからゲレンデトップ
最初に滑ったのは「メルヘンコース」。序盤からグーフィーの壁が現れ、そこから広がるオープンバーンでスピード感を楽しめます。
The first course we tried was the "Meruhen Course." Right from the start, wall-like terrain appears, leading into an open slope where you can enjoy a sense of speed.
コース途中には「クリスタルコース」との合流ポイント。ここで壁地形がまた現れる
Midway through the course is a merge point with the "Crystal Course," where wall appear again.
「クリスタルコース」は、沢地形が特徴的で、コース両側の壁で楽しめます。
The "Crystal Course" is characterized by valley terrain, offering opportunities to enjoy the walls on both sides of the course.
「メルヘンコース」と「クリスタルコース」の合流を過ぎても、レギュラーの大きな壁が続き飽きることなく滑れます。

Even after confluence point of the "Meruhen Course" and "Crystal Course," the large walls continue, allowing for a fun ride.
「クィーンコース」の合流ポイントまではコース幅が細めに。
The course width is narrower until confluence point with the "Queen Course."
第2リフトはまだまだ色々なコースへアクセスできます。次に向かったのは「ダイナミックコース」。程よいグーフィー壁とうねりがあり、楽しめます。
From the second lift, the next course I headed to was the "Dynamic Course." It has a good mix of wall terrain and undulating features, making it enjoyable.
「ダイナミックコース」途中からは「クィーンコース」への分岐がある。
On the "Dynamic Course," there is a junction leading to the "Queen Course" partway down.
「メルヘンコース」の合流へ向かうと起伏を楽しめる
Heading towards the "Meruhen Course," you can enjoy the rolling terrain.
こちらはリフト沿いの端パウ
「林間コース」。こちらはクネクネコース。ボーダークロスのように楽しめます
The "Forest Course" is a winding trail, offering a snowboard cross-like experience.
第2リフトから「パノラマコース」の上部へ。「パノラマコース」の上部は第2リフトからのみアクセス可能で、コース中腹以降は第３リフトからもアクセス出来ます。上部は急斜面のコブ斜面。降雪があった時に思いっきり滑りたいコース。
From the second lift, head to the upper section of the "Panorama Course." The upper part of this course is only accessible from the second lift, and from the middle section onward, it can also be accessed from the third lift. The upper section features a steep mogul slope, making it an ideal course to fully enjoy when there's fresh snowfall.
第3リフトはゲレンデ端にある。リフトからの「パノラマコース」中腹。
コース中腹以降は緩やかな斜面が続き、地形も面白い。幅広いレベルの滑り手が楽しめます。ただ、週末で人も多かったため周りには注意が必要です。
From the middle of the course onwards, the slope becomes gentler, and the terrain is interesting. It offers enjoyment for a wide range of skill levels. However, since it was a weekend and the area was crowded, it was necessary to be mindful of others around.
最後はオープンバーンに。
『ちくさ高原スキー場』は豊かな地形が楽しめるスキー場でした。特に、各コースが絡み合い、滑走ラインを選ぶ楽しさもありました。今回訪れた日は雪が硬めでしたが十分に楽しめました。壁に雪がついている時はもっと楽しいと思います。また、ローカル情報によればナイター営業も楽しいとのことです。

Chikusa Kogen Ski Resort is a ski resort where you can enjoy rich terrain. The courses interweave, adding fun to selecting your riding lines. Although the snow was a bit hard during my visit, I had a great time. I think it would be even more fun when there's snow on the walls. Also, according to local information, night skiing is said to be enjoyable as well.
ローカルなスキー場は地元の方々の特別な場所です。リスペクトを忘れずに楽しみましょう。
