今回は兵庫県北部、新温泉町にある『但馬牧場公園スキー場』を楽しんできました。
但馬牧場公園スキー場は、ペアリフト1本に4本のコースの ”いわゆる小規模なローカルゲレンデ”。ネット上に情報がほとんど無く、どんなスキー場かも分からず、訪れる前は正直あまり期待していませんでした。でも、実際に滑ってみると…地形の面白いコースで、雪の状態もいい時に滑れて、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
今回のゲレンディングに参加してくれたのは、関西を拠点に活動するGemtenstickライダーのTomohide Inoue
This time, we visited Tajima Bokujo bokujyo Ski Resort, located in Shinonsen Town in northern Hyogo Prefecture. This ski resort is a "small local gem," featuring one pair lift and four courses. With little information available online, we honestly didn’t have high expectations before arriving. However, once we hit the slopes, we were pleasantly surprised! The unique terrain of the courses and the great snow conditions made for an enjoyable and memorable time. Joining us for this Gelanding session was Tomohide Inoue, a Gemtenstick rider based in the Kansai region.
リフトは1本のみですが、トップまで登るとそこには急斜面や沢地形、尾根沿いのコースなど、多彩な地形が待っています。初中級者はリフト途中下車も可能で、パラダイスコースからスタートすることもできます。
ゲレンデ下部”パラダイスコース”
There is only one lift, but once you reach the top, you will find a wide variety of terrain, including steep slopes, stream terrain and ridge courses.For beginner and intermediate riders, mid-station unloading is available, allowing them to start from the Paradise Course.
まずはリフトから見えていた"ワールドコース"へ
First, we headed to the "World Course," which was visible from the lift.
コース右側は尾根っぽい地形、左側は地形が落ち込んでおり、変化に富んだラインが楽しめます。
The left side of the course features a drop in terrain, allowing for a dynamic and varied line to enjoy.

良い雪の時に滑走できました。
I had the chance to ride on excellent snow conditions.
ワールドコースからパラダイスコースへ。リフト線下はグーフィーバンクっぽくなってました。
From the World Course, I transitioned into the Paradise Course.
スカイロードコースへ。スカイロードは2つコースがあります
I headed to the Sky Road Course, which actually features two distinct routes.
1つ目は入ってびっくり沢地形でした。圧雪はボトムのみ。左右に広がる大きな壁を活かしながら滑ることができます。
One of the courses features a valley-like terrain, with grooming only on the bottom section. You can enjoy riding along the expansive walls that stretch out on both sides.

スカイロードのもう一方のコースで尾根に走ってるコース。メローに楽しめます
The other Sky Road course runs along the ridge.
最後は「パスチャーコース」へ。ここも期待を裏切らない地形が広がっており、両側に壁があるコースで遊び甲斐抜群。うねりと壁を活かした滑りを堪能しました。
Finally, we headed to the "Pasture Course." This course also did not disappoint, featuring terrain with walls on both sides. We made the most of the undulating landscape and walls for an enjoyable ride.
ライダーも満足のゲレンディング
滑った後は、併設のレストランで但馬ビーフを堪能。名物の美味しいビーフ料理が楽しめるのも、このスキー場ならではの魅力です。
『但馬牧場公園スキー場』は、リフトやコースの規模だけを見ると小さなローカルゲレンデですが、実際に滑るとその地形の面白さに驚かされます。地形を活かして遊べるコースは、まさにゲレンディングの醍醐味を存分に味わえるものでした。
今回は曇り空でうっすらしか見えませんでしたが、天気が良い日には日本海を一望できるそうです。

After our ride, we indulged in Tajima Beef at the on-site restaurant. Enjoying delicious Tajima beef dishes is one of the unique attractions of this ski resort. "Tajima Bokujyo Koen Ski Resort" may appear to be a small, local ski area when judged by the size of its lift and course offerings. However, once you hit the slopes, the fascinating terrain is sure to surprise you. The courses, which make full use of the natural topography, perfectly embody the true essence of "gelending," offering an enjoyable and dynamic experience. On clear days, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan, adding an extra touch of charm to the experience.
