今回紹介するのは、。長野県上田市の標高1,300mに位置する『武石番所ヶ原スキー場』。リフト2本とコース3本で構成されており、1,000mの滑走が可能。公式ホームページには、初心者から中級者向けのファミリースキー場と記載されています。ゲレンデはほぼ北向きで谷間にあるので日は当たりづらいですが、雪質に期待をし、訪れた日も快適に滑走できました。

This time, I’d like to introduce “Takeshi Banshogahara Ski Resort,” located at an altitude of 1,300 meters in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. The resort consists of two lifts and three courses, offering a 1,000-meter run. According to the official website, it is described as a family-friendly ski resort suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers. The slopes face mostly north and are situated in a valley, so they don’t receive much sunlight, but the snow quality is promising. On the day of my visit, the conditions were excellent, and I enjoyed a smooth ride. Joining me was GREEN.LAB rider Toshiyuki Moriyama.

駐車場からゲレンデまでは動く歩道を使うため、荷物が多くても楽にアクセスできます。家族連れにも嬉しいポイント。

From the parking lot to the slopes, an escalator walkway provides easy access, making it convenient even with lots of gear—a great feature for families.

スキー場へ上がってきました。

We've arrived at the ski resort.

リフトを2本乗り継いでゲレンデ最上部へ向かいます。第1リフトから広々とした緩斜面を眺めながら。

We took two lifts to reach the top of the ski area, enjoying the view of the spacious gentle slope from the first lift.

第2リフトでゲレンデTOPへ。

The second lift takes you to the top of the ski area.

初中級コースの上部は斜度がそれほどなく、気持ちよく滑れます。

The upper section of the beginner to intermediate course has a gentle slope, making it enjoyable to ride.

端の雪を当てこむ

途中に地形のジャンプポイントありました。

There was a jump point with terrain along the way.

上部から下部へはスピードを保ちながら滑り込むことができ、滑走のリズムを崩さず楽しめました。

You can maintain speed as you ride from the upper to the lower part of the slope, enjoying the rhythm of your turns without losing momentum.

グーフィーの壁が続き、カービングや壁遊びで遊べます。ポールが貼ってありましたが滑っている人は数人。注意しながら遊びました。

The lower part of the course continues with wall-like terrain. There were poles set up, but only a few people were skiing, so I played cautiously.

オープンバーンの下部エリアは広々としており、カービングが気持ち良い。

Additionally, the lower area is spacious, and carving feels great.

林間コースでは、適度に壁を活かした滑走が楽しめますが、スピードがつきにくい箇所もあるため、スピードを保ちながら滑るのがポイント。

On the forest course, you can enjoy sliding that takes advantage of moderate wall terrain. However, there are some sections where it’s difficult to gain speed, so maintaining speed while sliding is key.

林間コースから上級コースに入れます。圧雪エリアと非圧雪エリアの両方を楽しめる構成で、雪質次第で満足できる滑走が可能です。

You can enter the advanced course from the forest course. It features both groomed and ungroomed areas, allowing for enjoyable runs depending on the snow conditions.

滑走後は、ゲレンデ内のレストハウスで食事を楽しみました。野沢菜や卵など、自由にカスタマイズでき、地元の味を堪能！

After skiing, I enjoyed a meal at the resort's rest house. You can customize your meal with pickled nozawana and raw eggs, fully savoring the local flavors!

『武石番所ヶ原スキー場』は、リーズナブルなチケット価格が魅力のスキー場です。標高1,300mの北向きゲレンデは、降雪後の雪質は良好でした。ただし、内陸部にあるため自然降雪量はやや控えめな傾向があり、降雪機も活用されていますが、訪れる際には事前にコース状況をチェックすることをおすすめします。

Takeshi Banshōgahara Ski Resort is an attractive ski resort with reasonably priced tickets. The north-facing slopes at an altitude of 1,300m offered good snow quality after snowfall. However, since it is located inland, the natural snowfall tends to be somewhat limited, and snowmaking equipment is also used. It is recommended to check the course conditions in advance before visiting.
