2019年1月中旬、降雪量がまだ少なめだった本州の宮城県中部エリア、太平洋側に位置する仙台市から近くにある”スプリングバレー泉高原スキー場”に降雪があるとの情報を得て、ゲレンディングしに向かいました。
 
In mid-January 2019, when snowfall was still relatively low in the central area of Miyagi Prefecture on the Pacific side of mainland Japan, I received information about snowfall at the nearby Spring Valley Izumi Kogen Ski Resort from Sendai City and decided to head there for some skiing.
 

  
撮影日、予想より降雪量は少なかったですが、スキー場の雪は適度な硬さで滑れそう。
On the day of filming, the snowfall was less than expected, but the snow on the slopes seemed to be of moderate hardness.
 

 
参加してくれたのはGentemstickのライダー"Shinji Sato"
Shinji Sato, a rider for Gentemstick, also joined us for the day.
 

 
まずは"クリッパーA"でライディングを開始しました。上部はレギュラーバンクが続き、
We started riding on the "Clipper A" first. The upper part had continuous Regular banks, and then we moved to a slope with a gradient.
 

 
その後は斜度のあるバーンへ移動しました。圧雪も美しく、気持ちよく滑ることができました。
The groomed snow was beautiful, and we could ski comfortably.
 


 
その後、リフトから見える"クリッパーB"へと移動しました。
Afterward, we moved to "Clipper B" visible from the lift.
 

 
上部は天然地形と人工地形がコラボした面があり、
The upper part had a collaboration of natural and artificial terrains,
 



 
中部からは斜度のある面へと滑り降りました。
and we skied down to a slope with a gradient from the middle.
 

 
"メイフラワーB"も最初は緩やかな斜面でしたが、途中からは急斜面へと変化し、途中所々にレギュラーバンクがあり楽しい滑りを楽しむことができました。
"Mayflower B" initially had a gentle slope, but it changed to a steep slope halfway down, with regular banks at some places, making the skiing enjoyable.
 


 
 
その後、もうひとつのリフトを乗り継いでショートコースの"クレッセントB"へと向かい、
Then, we transferred to another lift and headed to the short course "Crescent B"
 



 
最後に"サンデッキB"を滑って終了。
and finally ended the skiing on "Sundeck B"
 

 


 
帰る途中のアメリカンな雰囲気たっぷりなお店のお肉で今回はシメ飯
On the way back, we enjoyed some meat at a shop with an American atmosphere, ending a fulfilling day.
 

 

 

 

 
圧雪カービング、スノーパークもしっかり遊べて、地形は程よく、滑りもガッツリ楽しめて、帰り際はお肉でガッツリ!!
