今回紹介するのは、山形県にあるローカルゲレンデ『白鷹町営スキー場』このスキー場は白鷹山の西北西斜面に位置し、雪質も期待できる環境。さらに、ナイター営業も行われており、地元で親しまれるスキー場のようです。
今回参加してくれたのはKNOWYライダーのShinji Sato
This time, I’m introducing Shirataka Choei Ski Resort, a local ski area in Yamagata Prefecture.This ski resort is located on the northwestern slope of Mount Shirataka, offering a setting where you can expect excellent snow quality. Additionally, it features night skiing, making it a beloved spot for the local community. Joining us this time was Shinji Sato, a KNOWY rider.

朝イチのスキー場。まだ日が斜面に当たってません
The ski resort early in the morning, with the slopes still untouched by sunlight.
センターハウス内の自動販売機でチケットは購入します。
Tickets can be purchased from vending machines inside the center house.
今回1500円の回数券10回券を選択。2人で分けて滑ってましたが、滑っているうちに楽しすぎて、さらに10回券を追加購入することに...。結果的に、最初から4時間券（1500円）を2枚購入しておけばよかったです。
This time, we opted for a 10-ride ticket for ¥1,500. Initially, we shared it between the two of us, but we were having so much fun that we ended up buying another 10-ride ticket. In hindsight, it would have been better to purchase two 4-hour passes (¥1,500 each) from the start.
リフトはペアリフト仕様。徐々に日が差し始めたファミリーコース。グルーミングが気持ち良さそう。
The lifts are pair-lift style. The sun gradually started to shine on the Family Course, and the perfectly groomed slopes looked incredibly inviting.
エキスパートコースはまだ日が当たるまで時間がかかりそう。
The Expert Course still seemed to need some time before the sunlight would reach it.
ファミリーコースは斜度が程よく、幅広いオープンバーン。途中には緩やかなうねり地形があり、綺麗にグルーミングされた斜面はとても爽快！朝の数本はほぼ貸切。「ゲレンディングをしていて良かった〜」としみじみ感じたひと時でした。
The Family Course offers a perfect balance of slope and a wide-open run. Along the way, you'll encounter undulations that add a fun touch to the ride, making it an incredibly refreshing experience!The early morning runs were almost like having the course to ourselves.
ファミリーコース内には別の入り口もあり、そこから入るとうねり地形をレギュラーのうねりとして楽しむことができます。
The Family Course features an alternate entry point as well.

最後にはレギュラーの壁が登場しますが、その真下がソリゲレンデになっているため、注意が必要。
At the end of the course, a wall section appears, but the slope immediately following leads into the sledding area, so caution is necessary.
偶然なのか、意図的なのか不明ですが、圧雪跡の小壁のアイテム。こうした小さな地形の変化も、楽しさを引き立ててくれます。
Whether by chance or design, the compacted snow left small wall-like features. These subtle changes in terrain add an extra layer of fun to the experience.
ファイリーコースの大外には迂回路があり、ちょっとした地形も。探検気分を味わえる面白いポイントです。
On the outer edge of the Family Course, there is a bypass route with some playful terrain. It’s a fun spot that offers a sense of adventure and exploration.
ようやく日が差し始めたエキスパートコースへ。入り口は急な斜度、ファミリーコースとは一味違ったスピード感でカービングを堪能できます。
We finally headed to the Expert Course as sunlight began to illuminate the slope.The entrance features a steep incline, offering a distinctly different experience from the Family Course. Here, you can savor carving at high speeds.
コース端にグーフィーの壁とコブ斜面。少し強引にその間を攻めて楽しみました。
『白鷹町営スキー場』はリフト1本、コース2本のシンプルなローカルゲレンデ、その分うねりの魅力と丁寧に整備された圧雪をのんびりと滑りながら楽しめる、素朴で味わい深いスキー場でした。次回はナイター営業の雰囲気も体験してみたいです。

"Shirataka Town Ski Area" is a simple, local ski resort with just one lift and two courses.
