REVIEW

日時：2020年2月上旬 / 天候：晴れ / 雪質：硬めだがエッジが噛む雪　

今回紹介するのは、標高1,000m級の伊那谷に広がる、中央道伊那スキーリゾート。
最長1,200m。人工降雪によって整備されたバーンが広がり、晴れた日には南アルプスの稜線もちらりと望めます。初心者から中級者まで楽しめる全2コースは中斜面が中心で、カービングも気持ちよく楽しめます。

訪れた日は晴天。朝イチではなかったものの、午前中には滑り始めることができました。今回このゲレンデを滑ってくれたのは、Gentemstickライダーの "Shinji Sato"。

This time we visited Chuo Expressway Ina Ski Resort, located in the Ina Valley at around 1,000 meters above sea level. The longest run is 1,200 meters. The slopes are maintained with artificial snow, and on clear days, you can catch a glimpse of the Southern Alps ridgeline. There are two courses, mainly moderate slopes, ideal for beginners to intermediate riders. Perfect for smooth carving turns. It was a sunny day when we visited. Not quite first tracks, but we were on the slopes by mid-morning. This session was ridden by Gentemstick rider, Shinji Sato.

中央道「小黒川スマートIC」「伊那IC」「駒ヶ根IC」から、スキー場までは車で10〜15分ほど。今回は「伊那IC」からスキー場へ向かいました。

The resort is about 10–15 minutes by car from Chuo Expressway's Ogurogawa Smart IC, Ina IC, or Komagane IC. This time, we came via Ina IC.

駐車場からゲレンデへは、センターハウスを経由。

From the parking lot, access to the slopes is through the center house.

The first quad lift is marked by a retro-style logo that catches the eye.

スキー場下部にはスノーパーク。この年は暖冬だったためバンクは消えそうになっていましたが、少ない雪の中でもしっかりとパークが設置されていました。

At the lower area of the resort, there’s a snow park. It was a warm winter and the banks were fading, but they still managed to build the park even with limited snow.

初めて見るタイプの降雪機。アームに設置されているということは、より広範囲に造雪できるということでしょう。

We saw a type of snow machine we hadn’t seen before—mounted on an arm, likely for wider coverage during snowmaking.

上部にはコブ斜面。

There’s a mogul slope on the upper section.

第2ペアリフトでゲレンデのトップへ向かいます。

The second pair lift takes you to the top of the resort.

トップからは、街並みがきれいに見えます。

From the top, you get a nice view of the town below.

パノラマコースは、程よい中斜度。雪が多い年には、グーフィー側の壁も遊べるのでしょうか。

The Panorama Course offers a moderate gradient. With more snow, the wall on the goofy side might be fun to ride.

造雪によって作られた地形を使ってカービング。この日はパノラマコースに造雪地形が程よくあり、楽しめました。

We made carving turns on the artificial terrain. The snowmaking left nice shapes on the Panorama Course that were fun to ride.

それほどコース幅も狭くなく、快適に滑れます。

The course isn’t too narrow, making it a smooth and comfortable run.

ドリームコースは、さらに斜度が緩やかに。全体的に地形はフラット寄りです。

The Dream Course is even gentler in slope, with mostly flat terrain throughout.

後半のときどき現れるうねりを捉えて、カービングを楽しみました。

We caught the occasional undulation in the latter half and enjoyed carving through it.

伊那スキー場は、この年は雪が少なかったものの、南信ならではの多くの人工降雪機でしっかり整備されており、安心して滑れるゲレンデでした。

特にナイター営業に力を入れているようで、ナイター専用のシーズンパスも販売されていました。ナイターはドリームコース、土曜日は23:00まで営業、それ以外の日は21:00までのようです。ファミリーや、仕事帰りにふらっと立ち寄る地元の方にはありがたい存在ですね。

Although this was a low-snow year, Ina Ski Resort was well maintained thanks to the many snow machines typical of southern Nagano, offering reliable conditions. The resort especially focuses on night skiing, even offering night-ski-only season passes. Night skiing is on the Dream Course—open until 23:00 on Saturdays and until 21:00 on other days. A welcome option for local families or riders dropping by after work.
