REVIEW

日時：2022年1月 / 天候：晴れ / 雪質：乾いた雪、閉まり雪

今回紹介するのは、長野県茅野市、霧ヶ峰の稜線に広がる「車山高原SKYPARKスキー場」。標高1,900mの山頂からは、富士山や八ヶ岳、アルプスを望む大パノラマの絶景を見ることができました。広く開けた斜面が特徴の8本のコースと、内陸ならではの晴天率の高さの、爽快感あふれるスキー場でした。

This time we visited Kurumayama Kogen SKYPARK Ski Resort, located along the ridgeline of Kirigamine in Chino City, Nagano. From the 1,900m summit, you get a stunning panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, Yatsugatake, and the Japanese Alps. With eight wide-open runs and high inland sunshine rates, the whole place had a clear, refreshing feel.

スキー場に向かう道に標高の高さと寒さで雪が残る。運転には注意が必要です。

Because of the elevation and cold temperatures, snow often remains on the road to the ski area. Drive carefully.

ゲレンデにはオープン前に到着。

We arrived before the resort opened for the day.

今回参加してくれたのは新潟で活動するShinji Sato。初めての車山高原。

Joining this session was Shinji Sato from Niigata—his first time riding Kurumayama.

クロスコースはクローズしてました。まだクロスのアイテムを作り始めたばかりのようで、作った雪を集めているところでした。

The cross course was closed that day. They had just started shaping features and were still piling up the snow.

SKY PANORAMAに乗ってゲレンデ山頂へ

We took the SKY PANORAMA lift up to the top of the resort.

リフトからはスポーツマンコースが一望できます。

From the lift, you get a full view of the Sportsman Course.

圧雪と非圧雪の両方が楽しめるコースですが、この日は降雪が少なかったため、非圧雪には入らず。

It’s a course where you can ride both groomed and ungroomed terrain, but with little new snow, we stayed on the groomers this time.

山頂からは八ヶ岳、そして遠くに富士山も見えました。晴れの日が多いスキー場なので、この絶景が見られるのは大きなポイントですね。

From the summit, we could see Yatsugatake—and Mt. Fuji far in the distance. With so many sunny days here, being able to catch this view is definitely a highlight.

まずはパノラマコースへ。コース脇に溜まった雪を拾いながら、軽く当てこみ

We started with the Panorama Course, tapping into snow piled along the sides.

オープンな景色の中、パノラマコースには人工降雪で造られた雪がポコポコとしたうねりを作り出していて、それを拾いながら滑る。人工降雪のゲレンデのこの時期ならではの地形で楽しかったです。

The manmade snow had created small, rolling undulations across the open slope, making for a fun line to trace as we rode. That kind of terrain is unique to this time of year at resorts using snowmaking—and it was a good ride.

そのままファミリーコースへ。幅広でうねりもゆっくりと変化していく、カービングの気持ち良いコースでした。

Then we flowed straight into the Family Course—wide, gently undulating, and perfect for carving smooth turns.

ロマンスリフト沿いのファミリーコース

The Family Course runs alongside the Romance Lift.

続いてSKY JETERに乗り、ビーナスコースへ。

Next, we hopped on the SKY JETER and headed to the Venus Course.

前半はぐっと斜度があり、後半は緩やかに変わっていく構成。

It starts off with a decent pitch, then eases into a mellow slope toward the end.

最後はロマンスリフトA＆Bに乗ってスラロームコースへ。

We wrapped up with the Slalom Course, accessed via Romance Lifts A & B.

末広がりの地形に展開するこのコースは、尾根沿いにリフトとポールバーンが並び、さらに隣の斜面を横に振りながら地形を使って滑走。地形もよく気持ちよかったです。

This course fans out in a wide-open shape, with lifts and race lanes running along the ridge—great for using the natural terrain and flowing across the neighboring slope. The flow felt smooth and the terrain was on point.

今回は『車山高原SKYPARKスキー場』の圧雪バーンを中心に滑りましたが、次は降雪後の非圧雪エリアにも入って楽しみたいところです。
晴れた日のパノラマと、地形のうねり。その両方が心地よく、カービングが気持ち良いそんな一日でした。

This time we focused on the groomed runs at Kurumayama Kogen, but I’d love to come back after a snowfall and explore the ungroomed lines too. The combination of clear-sky panoramas and rolling terrain made for a smooth, satisfying day on edge.
