今回紹介するのは、北海道登別市カルルス町に位置する登別市営のスキー場 『カルルス温泉サンライバスキー場』 です。このスキー場は来馬岳の斜面に広がるゲレンデで、温泉地としても知られる登別市のローカルゲレンデとなっています。残念ながらスキー場上部のダイナミックコースとパノラマコースは休止中のため、今回のマップには含まれていませんが、それでも十分に楽しめる内容でした。
今回参加してくれたのは、“ニセコ ダウンチルクルー”のTeppei Hirota。
Today, I’ll be introducing Karurusu Onsen Sunlaiva Ski Resort, a municipal ski area located in Karurusu Town, Noboribetsu City, Hokkaido. This ski resort is located on the slopes of Mount Raiba and serves as a beloved local ski area in Noboribetsu City, which is also renowned for its hot springs. Unfortunately, the upper Dynamic and Panorama courses were closed during my visit and are not included in the map I’ll be sharing. Nevertheless, it proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable ski resort experience. Joining us this time was Teppei Hirota from the "Niseko Down Chill Crew."
スキー場に到着し、まず目に入ったのは広々とした駐車場でした。そこからセンターハウスへ。
Upon arriving at the ski resort, the first thing that caught our eye was the spacious parking lot. From there, we made our way to the center house.
1日券のほか、 4時間券もあり気軽にゲレンデを楽しめます。
In addition to a full-day pass, the resort offers a 4-hour ticket, making it easy to enjoy the slopes casually.
第１リフトまではちょっと歩きます
You’ll need to walk a short distance to reach the first lift.

Before getting on the lift, we brushed off the snow with a quick air blast—true to the Sunlaiva style. A testament to the light, powdery snow quality!
セントラルコースのオープンバーン
The Central Course features a wide-open slope, perfect for carving and cruising.
リフトから、遠くに海も見える景色が印象的でした。
From the lift, the stunning view of the distant sea left a lasting impression.
まずはセントラルコースへ。広いオープンバーンが広がるコース。端にはふかふかの新雪。軽い雪の感触を楽しみながら、ターンを堪能しました。
First, we headed to the Central Course. This wide-open slope offered plenty of space, and we enjoyed the fluffy, fresh snow piled up along the edges of the course.
次はファミリーコースへ移動。
Next, we moved on to the Family Course.
幅広の緩斜面カービングが気持ち良い。
The wide gentle slope was for carving, providing an incredibly smooth and enjoyable ride.
連続するレギュラーの壁では、当て込みを楽しみながら滑走しました。日陰の斜面で雪質も良好です。
I enjoyed gliding through a series of rolling wall-like terrains. The shaded slopes offered excellent snow quality, adding to the fun.
ユートピアコース上部でもレギュラー壁が続きます。
The upper section of the Utopia Course also features a series of rolling wall-like terrains.
中盤以降はファミリーコースに似た穏やかな斜面になり、ゆったりと楽しむことができました。
From the midpoint onward, the slope transitions into a gentle terrain similar to the Family Course, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable ride.
チャンピオンコース。上部は圧雪バーンと非圧雪エリアが共存するコース。右側には圧雪と地形を活かした滑りがいのある斜面があり、左側は非圧雪エリアで新雪を満喫。
The Champion Course. The upper section features a mix of groomed and ungroomed areas. On the right side, there is a challenging slope that combines groomed terrain with natural features, while the left side offers an ungroomed area to fully enjoy the fresh powder.
後半は真っ直ぐな林間コースへ。
The latter part leads into a straight forest course.
最後はホワイトコースへ。緩斜面中心のコースですが、小さな壁もあり、のんびりと滑りました。
Finally, we headed to the White Course. It's mainly a gentle slope, but with some small walls, allowing for a relaxed ride.
『カルルス温泉サンライバスキー場』は、コース幅が広く、所々に地形もあり、気持ちの良いカービングが楽しめるローカルゲレンデでした。休止中の斜度のありそうなダイナミックコースやパノラマコースがもし再開すれば、さらに魅力的のあるスキー場。休止中のコースの復活を願いゲレンディングを終えました。

The Calrus Onsen Sunrivers Ski Resort offers wide slopes and terrain features, making it a local resort where you can enjoy smooth and enjoyable carving. If the currently closed Dynamic Course and Panorama Course, which seem to have more challenging slopes, were to reopen, it would make the resort even more attractive. We ended our day with the hope that these closed courses would return.
